IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS for the 2024/25 school year:
THE INTRA- and INTER- TRANSFER WINDOWS FOR THE 2024/25 school year runs from
February 5, 2024 to April 26, 2024
Kindergarten- Child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024
Transitional Kindergarten (TK)- Child must turn 5 years old between September 2, 2024 - June 2, 2025
Please note we have transitioned to an online platform and all enrollment documents, inter-district transfer requests, and intra-district transfer requests will now be available online. Paper copies of documents can be made available upon request. If families require assistance, please contact enrollment at Email Enrollment or 951-940-4942. You may also stop by the enrollment office anytime; no appointment is necessary.
There are three processes by which a parent may request to attend a school other than their neighborhood school:
Intra-district transfer requests pertain to a student who lives in the PESD boundaries but desires to attend a school other than their residentially designated school.
Inter-district transfer requests pertain to students who live outside of the PESD boundaries (Romoland, Menifee, Nuview, etc.) and the student desires to attend a school in PESD.
Inter-district transfer out of PESD requests pertains to a student who resides
Transfer requests are no longer being accepted for the 23/24 school year. This includes placement within our Virtual Academy.
If you are seeking to enroll your child for the 2024/25 school year, please click on the enrollment button below to begin the process. After completing the online enrollment, Email Enrollment or call (951) 940-4942. It is not necessary to make an appointment to complete the child's enrollment. However, you have the option to schedule an appointment to finalize your child's enrollment.
Enrollment information for the 2024/25 school year will be released on February 5, 2024.
When enrolling, please upload the following documents:

Immunization record
Proof of residency
Physical (required for preschool and 1st grade only)

Student Services
Student Enrollment - Follow the link above for new student online enrollment. Once the online enrollment is completed, you can stop by the enrollment office anytime (no appointment necessary). If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, Email Enrollment.
Change of address - Parent must provide identification, proof of new residence, and update registration information.
Intra-district Transfer - Transfers from one school site to another within the Perris Elementary School District. Approvals are based upon space availability and contingent on appropriate attendance and behavior. Approved transfers are valid until the last grade offered at the school unless a program no longer remains available at the requested site.

Inter-district Transfer - If you are seeking attendance to a district other than Perris Elementary School District (PESD), you must first complete the inter-district transfer agreement with PESD. If would like to attend a school within the PESD but reside outside of the PESD boundaries, you must first complete an Inter-district transfer application from your district of residence. Once approval from the district of residence is received, you may request enrollment in PESD.
Approved transfers are valid for one school year and must be submitted annually.
