Welcome Back Sky View Elementary Families!

I hope that you have had a restful and safe summer. Our site has continued to be very busy over the summer, preparing for the 1st day of school. With the guidance of our staff, students continue to be inquisitive, energized, and collaborative, building the close community that is Sky View Elementary. It is this energy that not only makes the start of a new year exciting, but also a very special time for me. I hope you will join me and our staff in our shared vision for the 2023-24 school year:  "Eagles R.I.S.E.: The Sky's the limit!"

My goal for the upcoming school year is to continue to serve our community by working in partnership with all stakeholders: students, staff, community members, and most importantly with our Sky View Elementary parents, guardians, and families. It is through this partnership that we will be able to ensure the academic and social/emotional success of your child at Sky View Elementary. Working with our staff and parent volunteers, I look forward to planning more family events that highlight the programs at our school. These include our Dual Language Immersion Program (K-5), the ongoing development of critical thinking in all our students, and a thriving Think Together program, just to name a few.

I am committed to the mission and vision of Sky View Elementary so that each student can learn in a safe environment with learning opportunities that are rigorous, well-balanced, character building, and diverse. At Sky View Elementary, our students are able to achieve their maximum academic potential and become productive citizens in our community.

I invite you to be an active member of our school community, as you play the most important role in the academic success of your child. I look forward to working with you in order to ensure that your child will have a positive and productive 2023-2024 school year, both academically and socially.

School starts on Thursday, August 10, at 8:00 am. If your child will be eating breakfast, we encourage students to arrive at 7:30 am. to ensure ample time to eat.
