STEAM instruction serves as a purpose in introducing and inspiring students on the aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. STEAM lessons take place in classrooms and reinforce Clearwater’s STEAM and Project Base Learning instructional focus. Students enjoy learning through STEAM lessons due to their engagement, inquiry, hands on learning and real life connection. Through STEAM instruction students engage in collaborative learning, critical thinking, creative application and communication skills.

Saturday STEAM is an opportunity for Clearwater students to engage in enrichment activities that promote 21st Century skills. Daily Attendance (ADA) revenue is gained for students who were absent an entire school day whether the absence was excused or unexcused when attending Dolphin STEAM Academy on Saturday. Students have the opportunity to remove an absence from their attendance record in addition to possibly reinstating their perfect attendance status.
