We are excited to celebrate Assistant Principal Beteta for being recognized as the 2026 Certificated Administrator of the Year for Perris Elementary School District!
Assistant Principal Beteta leads with heart, purpose, and a deep commitment to the success and well-being of our students, staff, and families. Her dedication to building strong relationships, supporting schoolwide systems, and contributing to a positive campus culture makes a lasting difference at Railway Elementary.

Railway is gearing up to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week!
Here is what Railway has planned for staff this year:
Monday: Juan Pollo Lunch Provided by Railway
Tuesday: Bagels, Pastries, and Coffee Provided by Railway
Wednesday: PESD Staff Gift
Thursday: Jersey Mike's Lunch Provided by Railway
Friday: Railway Staff Gift
Parents/Guardians of Railway Elementary School,
The School Site Council is a decision-making body that helps develop, review, and monitor the School Plan for Student Achievement, including the use of school funds to support student outcomes.
We currently have two parent/guardian representative openings on School Site Council. This is a two-year term.
Please cast your vote for up to two candidates at: https://forms.gle/xmtNZQEZaTL8Vz2n7
You may not vote for the same candidate more than once. Each eligible parent/guardian may submit one ballot, and the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will fill the two open parent/guardian representative positions.
To maintain a fair and confidential voting process, all participants, including candidates, are expected to respect the integrity of the election process. Ballots must be completed independently by each eligible voter. Participants may not pressure others to vote for or against a specific candidate, ask how someone voted, collect or submit ballots for another person, attempt to view another person’s ballot, or attempt to influence how another person completes their ballot.
Neutral election reminders may be sent during the voting window. These reminders will only reference the voting deadline and participation process and will not reference, promote, or discourage support for any candidate.
If an elected candidate declines to accept the position, the position will be offered to the candidate with the next highest number of votes.
In the event of a tie for a remaining available seat, a runoff vote will be held between the tied candidates.
The voting window will close on Friday, May 8th, at 11:59:59 PM.

Please nominate a School Site Council Representative.
We currently have TWO openings available for the “Parents” position. This is a two-year term. The position will be filled by an individual who provides direct instruction in the school and an employee here at Railway Elementary School.
You may nominate yourself.
The nomination window will close on Wednesday May 6th, and the following voting window will close Friday May 8th.

El Consejo Escolar es un organismo de toma de decisiones que ayuda a desarrollar, revisar y supervisar el Plan Escolar para el Logro Estudiantil (SPSA, por sus siglas en inglés), lo que incluye el uso de los fondos escolares para apoyar los resultados académicos de los estudiantes.
Por favor, nominen a un representante para el Consejo Escolar.
