The PE Department is proud to announce that IHCS will be participating in the program called the 100 Mile Club. Students are hearing about it in their PE classes. We are encouraging parents and teachers to participate also. It costs $10 per person to participate and to earn prizes every 25 miles. They have all year to run, jog or walk the 100 miles. The first 25 miles earns a t-shirt; then a pencil with 50 miles, a wristband with 75 and a gold medal for 100 miles. Participants can run miles in class and out of class. If they run at home, they have to get their parents/guardians to sign off on their miles. Students should turn in their money and registration forms to their PE teacher by Friday, September 9. If parents want to participate, again, they have to pay $10 also and select a t-shirt size. If you have questions please, do not hesitate to email a PE teacher. We are kicking off the program with our first mile in class on Thursday, September 1st!!!
